We help people manage health issues and find work

APM is proud to deliver employment support programmes on behalf of the Ministry of Social Development and Department of Corrections

Our Employment Services teams work in communities across New Zealand to provide personalised support to people looking for work.

We know everyone’s circumstances are different, so we get to know each person referred to APM by the Work and Income service.

When a job seeker comes to us, we assess their circumstances and get to understand their needs. We acknowledge every individual’s challenges to securing work and focus on moving forward with personal job plans and realistic employment goals.

As part of our service we carry out Work Ability assessments for people on job seeker support with an injury, illness or disability. These can help a job seeker's Work and Income case manager identify any additional support services.

We also work with employers to help fill their vacancy gaps, understand local job markets and provide further support when they hire employees with APM.

Our priority is not just finding people work, but helping them build the confidence, motivation and guidance to maintain secure employment for the future.
