Your physiotherapist will assess you to ensure you get a high-quality, personalised treatment. We focus on giving you the exercises and tools to relieve your pain.

In addition, we provide you with injury prevention advice to help you avoid further harm or injury.

Follow-up appointments are usually recommended to make sure you make the best progress in your recovery. As part of your treatment, your physiotherapist will provide ways for you to manage your pain, discomfort or any other ongoing symptoms.

What to expect from your first appointment

Appointments take approximately 30 minutes. Please arrive 10 minutes early for your first appointment to complete any paperwork.

If you have more than one injury, please let your physiotherapist know at the start of your first session. If you have multiple concerns, your appointment may run a little longer.

You don't need a referral to book with APM Physiotherapy. Whether you're experiencing an ACC-covered injury or general pain and discomfort, you can book directly with your local Auckland APM clinic.


How much do our services cost?

  • $30 (incl. GST) per session for ACC-covered injuries
  • $75 (incl. GST) per session for non-ACC injuries and private appointments

ACC-covered injuries are subsidised. You'll pay a surcharge, and we will lodge a claim for you. For non-ACC injuries, you must pay the full treatment cost.

Your APM Physiotherapist will let you know if your injury is covered by ACC and lodge the required claims.
